Before you start, make sure your device is connected to a power source and connected to the Internet. Then, try the steps below to update your device

When the May 2020 update for Windows 10 is ready for your device, it'll be available to download from the Windows Update page in Settings. Choose the time that's most appropriate for you to download the update. You'll then need to restart your device and complete the installation. After that, your device will work with the 2004 version of Windows 10. (To check if you're using the May 2020 update, select View updatehistory history on the Windows Update settings page.)
